Finn got a Chuckit Rebounce ball. It was like Christmas to him, so we've been spending most of my day off playing fetch in my overgrown meadow of a yard. Have a few pics!

His coat is super shiny and low-maintenance now that he's back on Acana.

Derp.

I got this!

This too!

At the end of ball sessions, his fluff is usually all over the place.

All for now. :)

Oooh Finn, no one can look as derpy and handsome at the same time as you. No one.

He looks so happy and content in that last picture

He was getting REALLY tired by that point. These were taken late afternoon and I've been playing ball with him off and on all day. He's been a zombie all evening, haha!

I love the amazing action shots you always get. I'm still in the process of trying to learn to take action shots and throw the ball at the same time lol. And I gotta say one thing... OMG his coat looks SO freaking amazing!!!! Seriously... he looks absolutely perfect. I might have to look into Acana. I don't think I've ever seen it sold in the local places I tend to shop at... is that just a Canadian brand or can I find it in the US?

Amber, it's sold in the states! I *think* I might have seen it at Petco?

Allie, don't take this the wrong way but his coat does look FANTAAAAASTIC. Wow. Great job on finding the right food!

I just checked and Acana isn't sold in Petco up in the area where I'm planning on moving but there are a ton of specialty stores that sell it. Allie, is it grain free? I can't get over how AMAZING Finn's coat looks and now I really want to check out this food.

Yes, sorry. I had seen it a local dog food store.

I checked the website, it's grain-free.

There are different formulas of Acana. There's quite a few actually, 3 of them are grain free, there is another 4ish that aren't. Some contain oatmeal. They're made by Champion pet foods, same maker as Orijen.

Nia has been using the 3 grain free ones for about a year and a half now and on Orijen before, love it! Truffs and Pop have been on Orijen for the last 2 years with great results too

If i recall... The grain inclusive ones aren't available in the USA. I don't know if they're planning to sell them down there or what.

Oh really?? I never knew that but then I never really looked when I was in the States. Sorry, I'm making this thread completely off topic *runs away*

I'm not sure if it's correct but it's what I've been told. If they're not down there i don't know why they aren't because they have some really good formulas that are grain inclusive.

Is Ranchlands a new formula?? I've never seen it before or heard of it...

Also those prices seem cheaper than my area in vancouver. The big bags of grain free formulas are about $80/bag here. Some formulas a bit over 80.

Ranchlands is quite new, yeah. I'm putting Finn on a bag rotation of the grainfree formulas. He's on Wild Prairie right now.

When I was po', he was on Kirkland, and while he did fine on it, his coat was significantly duller, matted easily and was more difficult to maintain. Now it's mega shiny again, matting is nonexistent and he doesn't smell like dog anymore, woo!

I love Acana. I get free bags from work, too!

ETA: The MSRPs here are slightly higher than Mandy, yeah. the largest bags retail between $69.99 and $74.99.
