Teacup poodle chases bear up tree in Kirkland, WA man's backyard

Kirkland is in the Seattle metro area. It seems that there are an abundance of young bears this Spring and they're being seen in places that haven't had bear sightings in a long time. (Fortunately these young bears are dog-shy.)

That's what happens when the I-5 corridor dictates hunting policy rather than leaving it to wildlife scientists. I expect more and more urban bear and cougar problems as time goes by.

For now anyways......
