I know this isn't the intent of the article, but I love how Amnesty International decries the use of the shock device because of the "constant fear of being shocked."

But it's totally ok to put it on your dog. :rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure it's not ok to use a stun gun on a dog. An e-collar, a stun gun, and a taser are not the same thing and are not used correctly the same way.

As far as this guy I don't care if they have to put a twitch on his nuts to get him through a trial.

From what they are saying, I frankly have serious doubts this man is competent to stand trial. When you're talking about using shocks to control someone with a history of severe mental illness, I start really wondering.

Crazy and competent for trial are two different things. The judge had enough of this guy's mouth yesterday so he gets to watch his trial on tv from another court room. Generally speaking I'm anti death penalty but I really wish we'd make an exception for this guy.
