OO I like this game Top 3 are all about equal, rest 7 are in no particular order

1. Papillon

2. Border Collie

3. Field bred golden retriever

4. Weimeraner (long haired) which is allowed in the CKC standard but not AKC

5. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

6. Welsh or English Springer Spaniel

7. Vizsla

8. Australian Shepherd

9. Flat Coat Retriever

10. Dobe

For most of the sporters, I want field lines.

lol @ B/S... Elegy, it's a sickness I'm telling you!!

Hmmm... I'll make it a list of what I would like to own...

Malinois
Border Collie
Staffordshire Bull
Borderwhippet (see Elegy, I've been infected too...)
Labrador
Jack Russell

Thats about it, I wouldn't turn away a nice whippet, maybe not a nice shepherd, and now I'm stumped.

I have some other breeds I really enjoy looking at and researching but I've gotten more and more realistic in my desires and most likely malinois, border collies, labs, staffs and jrt can fill pretty much anything I want in a dog so I don't stray far from them.

I don't have 10...and really the top 3 are equal to me and the only ones I'm 100% sure of.

1. Australian Cattle Dog
2. Belgian Malinois
3. Border Collie (from working lines *only*)
4. Dutch Shepherd (maybe)
5. Koolie (maybe)
6. Whippet (maybe)

Also not in order:

1. American Pit Bull Terrier
2. Jack Russell Terrier
3. Chihuahua
4. Greyhound
5. Borzoi
6. Rhodesian Ridgeback
7. Boxer
8. Havanese
9. Neapolitan Mastiff
10. English Springer Spaniel
11. Standard Poodle

I couldn't pick just 10. The mastiff is probably a dream that will never come true because of lifestyle/lack of breeders I like/the fact I really can't see myself ever getting a puppy from a breeder and have only found them with behavioral issues I couldn't deal with in rescue. The rest might happen some day.

1. Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd
2. GSD (specifically I prefer DDR/Slovak/Czech line dogs)
3. Border Collie
4. Rottie
5. Dobe
6. Kelpie
7. Rhodesian Ridgeback
8. Dogue de Bordeaux
9. English Mastiff
10. South African Boerboel

What's scary is that I've gotten to meet/interact with all but the DDB, Boerboel, and Dutchie. I would own any of them, but the first two (technically three) are my top of the list and hopefully next up!

I don't plan on rescuing again, but it would not be shocking if I ended up with another GSD/Sibe mix. Its pretty much the best mix ever. Not that I'm biased. :D

Umm... I am thinking you need a Westie, they are the BEST!! :p
My mom and her family had a Westie named Happy, who lived with my grandma when my mom got married and moved out. Happy lived a long life but passed away when I was little. I really loved that dog. I've had a soft spot for Westies since then.

Great Dane is always #1 but in no particular order, here are my other wants.

Irish Wolfhound
Bullmastiff
Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever
Papillon
Brussels Griffon
German Shepherd
Greyhound
French Bulldog
Cardigan Corgi

Honourable mentions go to Basset Hound and Bedlington Terrier. They get honourable mentions cos I don't see myself owning a hound or terrier but I think these guys are too adorable.

No matter what dogs I own in the future...there will always be a dane in the mix!

Hmm, I'm not sure I can get to ten. Let's give it a whirl!

1)Border Collie. Probably the only purebred I'd seek out right now. Ideally a puppy from this boy, if he's ever bred.

2)Border/Staffy. Yeah, as Elegy said, not a breed, but definitely a want.

3)Staffy.

4)Cavalier. Probably not, but a few in particular have really made me love the breed.

5)Random small scruffy mutt. That's a breed, right? This is one that my friend placed through her rescue, and I adore her.

6)Lundehund. The health issues scare me off, but I love the look and am very intrigued by them.

Well, 6 out of ten is passing, right? Or not.

This list has changed DRASTICALLY recently lol so here we go..

1. BORDER COLLIE First of all I would like to PUBLICLY blame the two dogs below for the new addition to this list. a breed that for a long time was on my "never" list and is not wiggling its way into my heart!

shame on both of you lol

2. Show line goldens. Love them, hate the shedding

3. Aussies. I'm just WAY to specific on type that I like..

4. Dobermans. if I wasn't such a city girl who is scared of breed restrictions

5. totally random because I don't know SQUAT about them lol but I really love them!
Scotties!

6. A lab (show line) love em :) hate the shedding.. but love the happy attitude

7. number 7-10 is just a MUTT lol I just want to walk into a shelter and pick out a total and complete mixed breed
