Here's the in-progress thread for the newest faerie. She's gonna be all shiny and stuff. After she's done I'm going to make a more scuffed up counterpart.

This is what their faces look like as I'm blocking them out. This picture was for my sister, because she couldn't stop laughing. :p

Here's my index finger poking her in the face for a rough idea of scale. She's far more petite than any other doll I've tried.

Neck! I'm super ticked because I broke off her ears. :( Have to fix them now, and figure out an armature to help strengthen them at this scale.

Oh hai!

Shooting for a shiny, insect-like eyeball.

Skiiiiin! lol

and she looks sorta crosseyed because of the camera lens reflecting in her eyes.

I'm so envious that you have the talent and dedication to create something like this. It's incredible.

That one is going to officially be very, very cool.

Ohhhh! You know what would make an incredibly cool set of eyes for a Faerie? Small moonstone cabochons. Or any semi-precious cabs for that matter.

Sorry bout your ear. I had to pitch a small dog the other day for the same reason, no putting it back on in my medium. THis one is going to be way too cool. I can't wait to see the process and final.

I just can't get over the amount of detail you cram in on such a tiny scale!

She's going to be awesome, I love her eyes already! :D

Aww man, that is sad. At least with polymer clay things can be redone. I bet he was super cute too.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to try and finish the sculpt this weekend and get some updated photos up.
