Okay well, I want to get back to drawing more. so as of now I'm just trying to work on a little sketch at least every day or every other day. I wanted to try more original pieces and less fan art but... :lol-sign: Anyways, at least I'm drawing, right? I should stop asking my little sisters what I should draw too.

And they're pictures of sketches so it's not so great quality wise

Me too! They kind of kick ass. I'm working on a big piece for Em's birthday. she's DA obsessed so I'm drawing her warden and her mabari. I got to get her off her PS3 though so I can get a good reference for her character.

I should add these... I'm working on so many things, I need to just finish one or two of them.



This is taking over a year lol SO tedious.

I like this little guy so far.

I am so jealous. *sigh* Everything looks so amazing! I can't wait to see your little dragon guy when he is finished - did you make him up, or is he an inspiration from something?

Now, I think you should draw Zero from the anime Vampire Knight and then blow it up so I can have a poster. :p

OMG Laur you are SO incredibly talented! Your last two pieces you just posted are absolutely breathtaking. I love the detail and expression on the lion and the dragon is SO COOL. It looks like he's right out of one of those fantasy books, with all the sketches of the different creatures.

Thanks! I really need to finish some of my 'real' pictures like those two instead of just doodling all the time. Im horrible about that.

ETA: I'm on a bit of a roll lol:





I'll probably just add on to this thread with little sketches.

I love your art! :) And yes, that includes your terrific "doodles." ;)

This is something I need to get better at. My great grandmother was an amazing artist, and one of her nuggets of advice for getting better was to "draw something every day."

I should start one of these, might motivate me to draw more creatively, more often.
