Awww...that is so sweet and exudes a real feeling of peace to go with the music. I bet Grammy is feeling like that little dog now....satisfied, comfortable and restful. Thanks for sharing.

wow I can't believe it.. I had no idea...

Grammy I knew you as a kind, caring, warm and considerate person who never forgot about me no matter how long I'd been absent from the forum.... You even sent me my first dog training book when I just got Peanut years ago.... I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

RIP Grammy, we miss you profoundly

I was looking back on my before time posts and Grammy was the first Chazzer to respond on a post about my step dad.

Jan, meeting Nash at the Mod Meet at Grammy's was a definite high point of my trip. I wish I had pics of him playing barber with my goatee.

Earlier this month I was looking for a post of mine and I kept coming across Grammy posts in threads I had started, and it reminded me of my before time on this forum and of that trip.

Grammy was a surrogate grandmother to me, and she knew how I felt, as all of my grandparents died when I was a kid. Your mother was very special to this forum, to many of us, and to me personally. It felt good having a Grandmother again. Her inviting me into her home and to meet her family makes me miss her that much more.

Grammy touched a lot of us.

I hope she leaves an impression on this board that lives on.

Grammy knew how to LIVE.

It had to seem naive and foolish for a 70 year old woman to invite a group of people she'd met on the internet to her home. So many people who are internet "friends" never even know each other's real names, let alone where they live.

But Grammy knew enough to trust her heart and to embrace life's gifts without allowing convention to intervene. She knew how to LIVE.

And that is why she will always live here, with us.

I have not been on this forum in God knows how long. However, the other week, something struck me to visit again. I didnt have much time, but checked old PMs and such, looking for messages from Grammy, because she was such a sweet concerned friend on here. I couldnt find any, and had not been back to investigate again until today. And I find this ost!! OMG how awefully sad! She was such a nice understanding patient woman. I will miss her.
