I think we're getting our puppy soon. :)

Finally!

Holly's breeder has three litters of puppies (all from Holly's sisters, so the puppy we get will be related to her - which makes them even more special) and we think we're ready to get a second dog.

For those of you who didn't know Holly, she was a husky, so we're getting a Husky puppy.

They were just born in december, so it'll be a few weeks until we can go pick one out (we could go now, but we wouldn't be able to see their personalities). I'm....unbelievably excited! I can't wait to go meet them! I also really want to meet Holly's sisters. And the dad of the puppies is a new dog I haven't met, so I want to meet him too.

When I get pictures of the babies, I will post them here. ;D She said there are 14 puppies, and several of them are grey and white (which is what I want), and she'll let me know eye color as soon as she knows. I want blue eyes, but may be drawn to the brown (again lol) when I get there. As you can tell from my "Boys vs. Girls" thread, we can't decide on the sex we want. We're just going to go with the flow, and pick the one we connect with, regardless of the gender.

I can't freakin' wait!!!! :banana:

Thanks! And I know, I doubt any dog will be like her. She was such a good dog, and unlike the Sibe stereotype, never did anything bad. We've had the other end of the spectrum - Misty, so we know what we're in for, lol!

Though, I have to say, it's hard not to hope we'll see a little bit of Holly in him/her.

Getting a pup out of one of her sisters is special. I know it made a big difference to me that Kharma is related to Buffy -- and then there are so many things about her that are similar to Buffy.

Thank you Renee, I teared up reading that. She was so special, and one of a kind. No one could replace her. But I have a nice big space in my heart for a new love.

^_^ Thanks! I'm really excited. We might actually go see them THREE times instead of twice (they're like 2-2 1/2-ish hours from us otherwise we'd go even more) because we can't wait to see them. Three times being, once in the next week, once in a few weeks when they're old enough to pick one out, and then when we finally bring him/her home.

I have to agree that your Holly was much prettier than the other dogs you posted. They are pretty too, but Holly was gorgeous!

My dad agrees, he constantly insists that she's the prettiest dog they've bred. I don't argue. She was gorgeous.
