Swag Bucks

umm can you gift swag points?

Its been 2 days and I'm bored lol but I have 50 of them!

I don't understand the swag TV thing. I have NEVER gotten any codes or any points from that

If you fill out your profile (click on the survey button on the left and it will bring it up) you get some points, as well as supposedly they can find more surveys for you to take.

I've never tried going in there, because I don't understand how it works.

Did anyone catch the code last night? I ended up getting it with 5 minutes left before it expired.

yeah I don't understand it either. they said something like they will flash up codes during some videos but I've watched like 20 videos and not ONE code lol. how many of those crappy pointless videos do I have to watch lol

I've gotten points from SwagTV but it's not really worth it. You don't get very many points and the organization of their videos is TERRIBLE. I would usually end up watching crap on the "most popular videos" just because I couldn't navigate within each section.

I also have been selected to try out the game section, which sounded great. I love playing games online! If I can play games and get swagbucks for it, cool! In reality? Sucks. The games are terrible, low-end flash games, and it works about like SwagTV. Play play play play play get two swag points play play play play play play play play play play play get two swag points. Not worth it.

I was picked as a tester for the games as well... played a couple of them, and realized it's not worth it.

I'll go into the special offers and play the videos, since they're 15-30 second clips and you get 2 SB for each one.

I ended up being able to watch 9 in a row this morning, so I've already gotten 30 SB this morning

I let them play in the background and just hit "next video" when they end. Easy points

Hey, I just joined Friday (as you know) and don't feel like I've spent very much time there at all.......but I have 294sb already! HOORAY!!

I installed the tool bar, and I also added the widget to my web site. I get random points when I load the browser sometimes, and the widget allows me to search for codes without actually going to the site! All very easy IMO

I just signed up, my tool bar says I have 31 points, but my account says 51? Help? lol Do you have to 'get' the bucks, somehow? It came up that I got 20 swag bucks, so my account went up to 51 but I read you have to claim them within 5 minutes?

Once the SB's are in your account, they're yours. I haven't seen anything ever saying you have to claim them... hmm.

Lizmo, go to your account details (mine is on the top right in a drop down menu when I mouse over the swag buck symbol where it says "Hi Angela" of course yours will say "Hi Lizmo" or whatever your user name is )

That will list all the swag bucks and how you got them.

I'm pretty new, but as far as I can tell, once you get them, they are yours without doing anything more.

Sometimes if you do a search, you will have to enter a code in the box to prove you're a real person and not a bot doing searches. That's the only time I've ever had to "claim" swagbucks. One time I did a search for something while I was at work, got involved in something else, and forgot I did the search. When I came back to the window and saw that I had won swagbucks for my search but I needed to enter the code, I tried to enter it, but it had timed out, so I lost the swagbucks I'd won in that search.
I'm pretty sure that's what it means by claiming them because that's the only time I've ever had to do anything to claim them.

Your toolbar also doesn't automatically update which is probably why there's a discrepancy between what your account page says and what the toolbar says!

I've had to enter in the code a couple of times to "prove" I wasn't a robot. lol. That's the only time I've ever had to "claim" the SB's, too.

Okay, seems you just have to open a new internet for the tool bar to refresh, haha.

You can also click the little arrow next to where it says "SWAGBUCKS" and click "refresh toolbar" in the dropdown!
