New foster boy!

His name is Tuk (we call him Tukie tukie like the bird off George of the Jungle).

Bad pic but this is what he looks like most of the time. He likes to lay his ears back....I haven't quite figured out why.

Tuk is just adorable! I am hopeless when it comes to "Name That Breed," but do I see Corgi in there? Maybe a little ACD? Whatever. Seems like a very nice pup.

And Murphy says, "I am always photogenic!"

Thanks guys! Tuk is *supposed* to be full ACD. His face looks very coyote-ish to me instead of ACD though lol. He's also chock full of separation issues which I was not told about but we're working with him. He likes to obsessively like poor Murphy's face...and Murph is so laid back that he just gets this resigned look and lets him do it....lol. Silly boys.

He looks SO much like Mu. He could be pure cattle dog, I think.

Do they usually have docked tails?

great looking dogs--do you find having the third (foster) more challenging than just the two? (besides his separation issues)--they look like three active guys!

Your dogs are awesome!

Tuk is a handsome guy as well. Maybe when his ears are back he's giving you his "thinking" face lol.

From everything I've found - I'm pretty new to the breed - they absolutely should not have docked tails. But 90% of the ones I've met do. Mu's is docked but there's just enough left to wag lol. Tuk either can't wag his at all or just doesn't want to.

I wasn't sure how much more work three dogs would be than one and it's the main reason I was hesitant to foster in the first place, but really it's not very difficult. The hardest parts are greeting everyone when I get home cause I don't have three hands (lol) and feeding time. Other than that it's just managing the way they all interact and so far we haven't had any big problems. Well, other than Tuk obsessively licking Murph's face but that bothers me, not Murph lol. They get a lot of their energy out chasing each other in the back yard and if they're still crazy then we go for walks.

Thanks! He must be thinking an awful lot....lol.
