I successfully dyed Porom pink today, finally, after two failed attempts :p

She wasn't impressed with the dying/rinsing procedures...

She even got more pink on her nose... had to wipe it off!

She took out her anger on a towel. The poor towel.

Lick!

Then, the brush met the end of her wrath.

After she had fully dried, I took her outside to play a bit, which made her hate me a whole lot less. The finished pink colour is nice and even, and subtle. I like it!

The dye and rinse made her SO poofy and soft. And she smells like cherry. <3

That's all!

AWWw shes cute, but boy does she look a bit ticked off at you Allie.
The funniest part is that she -wasn't- actually ticked off. She was wardancing, which ferrets do when they're exuberant and happy. :p It can look pretty angry though, and the photo fits. :D

I guess I'm the only one who thinks this is ridiculous. I have never been a fan of people dying their pets, but she does look like a marshmallow peep.

just cause you may think its silly to do, its not like theres any harm in doing it :p (as long as its done this way with a none chemical dying agent and doesnt harm the animal or its skin)

ruby actually LOVES being pink...
it may sound strange but she takes on a totally different "attitude" when shes pink (which we do randomly particularly around halloween when we "trick or treat for a cure"...)
she just becomes alot more excited, outgoing and more accepting of others attention, when shes not she prefers to keep others at a distance...

Allie...
I LOVE watching ferts wardance! they are completly made of rubber and just bounce off everything all puffed up teeth bared...
mine used to dook like crazy when wardancing, i LOVE that sound!

I must say i have never seen a *pink* carpet shark before :) ;)

what does his name mean?
He's a she. :D But it's okay, the name is confusing to those who don't play the video game. Porom (and her brother Palom who passed away in Feb) are named after the mischievous twin mages in Final Fantasy IV.

It IS ridiculous. :) It doesn't hurt her, she loves wardancing and playing after a bath, and it's not harmful to the oils in her skin.

This is clearly ferret abuse. I think you should send her to me, where she won't have to be subjected to such treatment. :p

Your ferrets are sooo cute! It's making me want to have one again.

I never said that it was detrimental to their health, I just would never do it to any of my animals. Just stating my opinion.

She does look cute and Easterish, and I probably would prefer the smell of the cherry than muskyness.:p

She doesn't smell musky normally. :) She smells like Fritos, or cucumbers depending on the day.
