What should I do for the background?

A little pic of some Mexican Wolves compiled from my own pics. The backgrounds on all 3 pics kind of sucked though.

Have them atop a mountain (like standing on a rock) with trees and wilderness behind him?

Oh!! You should add a little Mia wolf and have them all be hunting ducks. LOL

You could set them in Texas Canyon, that place is gorgeous with awesome textures.

Don't know how much of a background you need...you could just leave that pretty abstraact..or use a lighting tech of shadow to indicated space. Lots of different ways you could go. I think you should just let it speak to you.
