Three new portraits!

First of all, this is Dekka's Peek. I've been trying my hand at horses again, since I have none in my portfolio. This was fun, definitely some things I need to work on, but good practice! Also played around with varied line colours.


Next, Ronin and Kaylee for SizzleDog! This one was VERY challenging, in a good way. I had drawn Ronin before, but much more "toony". This was a challenge in drawing a more stoic, poised dog, and also a more realistic style. I'm VERY pleased with the result, and Sizzle is too.


And finally, a bust portrait of Finnegan. I was sort of using him as a guinea pig to test some techniques with ink pen opacities, so this is a bit unpolished, but I really liked the expression.

Those are really nice!! I love the one of Finn though. I might have to get you to do one for me of Dance one day.

So it was Finn! :rofl1: The black around the nose really threw me off, didn't know if it was a brother/sister portrait.

Yeah, that's part of the "unpolished" part. There's way too much black on his nose, his tan markings are a bit off, his right (our left) ear has too much tuck... I want to fix it up though, I really like it.

I think I might die of happy if you want a Dance portrait from me! Let me know, anytime!
