So what are your quirks? Like something you just have to do or can't stand that is kind of wierd?

For me I cannot stand to walk around with wet feet. Like when I get out of the shower I have to have a brand new freshly washed towel on the floor to stand on and I won't get off of it until my feet are completely dry

Hannah has a funny little quirk... she cannot stand to have dirty hands. if she gets paint on them gotta clean em off, sand.. gotta wipe em off. she just can't stand to have stuff on her hands lol

I can't stand socks! I don't own any until very recently when I tried to convince myself that I needed socks now that I'm pregnant & need to keep my feet warm! I bought a pack, tried to wear a pair to work the next day, but took it off as soon as I got in the car!!.. I tried to wear them again at night, but found them on the floor by my bed the next morning... I didn't remember taking them off.. so I must have done it unknowingly during my sleep.

I don't have a problem getting my hands dirty while I'm doing something (preparing food or gardening, for examples), but I have to wash them immediately after I'm done. I can't stand walking around with dirty hands.

i cant stand the seam on normal socks and if there not toe socks they come off as soon as my shoes come off!

im sure ive got many more but thats the one that realy sticks out because even when its freezing id rather go shoe/sockless...

for some reason though footie pjs dont bother me but that may be because there not tight on the toes so im not constantly feeling the seam on the tips of my toes.

I dunno... my water glass can't look dirty at all, this includes water marks. I won't use a piece of silverware if it has a spot of rust on it because it's "dirty." I won't drink out of a glass of water that has been sitting for an hour or more - I don't waste it though, I dump it into the dog's water bowl and refill my glass with fresh water :p (The little girl on the movie "Signs" reminds me of me lmao.... "It's contaminated.")

I, too, will not walk around with wet feet. OR lotion on my feet!! Dustin would always (playfullly) get so frustrated with me, because when I was pregnant, I'd ask him to put lotion on my feet nad rub them, but then I couldn't walk for 30+ min until ALL the lotion was completely dried in.. so if I needed something, he had to go get it for me! Lol. Now, he's getting his revenge that he can't walk!

I HATE hair in my face. HATE it. When that one little strand of hair is down across my face, I could go nuts!

I HATE dark rooms. I like everything to be brightly lit. But everyone in this household likes to keep things dimly lit. I feel like a vampire! Drapes on all the windows, lights never turned on... hate it.

Oh, where to start? :lol-sign:

-I have to have a napkin when I'm eating or drinking. Even if it's just a cookie or a cup of coffee.

-Things have to be straight or even. It drives me nuts when I close the drapes and they catch on the back of the couch, if the mats in the bathroom are on an angle, etc. I'm so bad that I move the copy machine at work when it's been worked on and not rolled back straight. Even the grroming table and crate in the garage have to be straight. It took me quite awhile to wait for a table at Applebees without fighting the urge to straighten the pictures and posters on the walls (they're hung crooked on purpose).

Let's see... I cannot stand my feet being touched, not even by me! Eric will want to give me a foot rub (he's such a good hubby!) and I'll have to tell him to stop because my feet are just too sensitive.

I like to have 3 or 4 blankets on me at night, even if the heat is up, because I like the weight of them, it makes me feel cozy and safe.

I walk around singing, not songs, just singing about what's going on at the moment and whatever it is that I'm doing. I do sing songs though too :p

:) I like the weight of the blankets, too. Unfortunately, I end up waking up in the middle of the night sweating like crazy, tho. So I just stick to the sheet and comforter, with a fleece blanket folded in half over my feet.

Oh another quirk

I CANNOT have a sheet on the bed. I cannot have more than the fitted sheet and the comforter.

When we go to a hotel the first thing I do is disassemble the bed lol

I do this, too! Ever since I got sick, I have been more cold, so now I don't wake up in the middle of the night hot :D win win there :lol-sign:

I can not STAND to be 'static'y. It really freaks me out. I will change clothes, wet my hair - staticy hair = . And I carry dryer sheets in my coat pockets and I have a spare in my purse.

Oh, and if I'm wearing something and the zipper gets stuck I have to calm myself down because I'll get panicky (clausterphobic feeling). Same if necklace latch gets stuck and I have a hard time getting it undone. Good thing I have friends that will come rescue me from my evil clothes :rofl1:

Yea, I'm weird

Oh, that reminded me- when I have to go into a walk in cooler, I run in, grab what I need and run out before the door shuts. The same with the storage room/closet at work- when I had to get the recess stuff out of there, I'd hold the door open with my foot so it wouldn't close while I was in there.

-Elevators- I go righ to the back corner.

-I won't do the coal mine tour that my husband likes because I don't like the feeling of being out of control whne you take the coal car down into the mine, and I don't like the trapped feeling once you get in the mine. Somehow, tho, I managed to do the Hoover Dam tour last year, complete with 20+ people in an elevator (it was a little dicey at times).

the wet feet thing definitely.
It grosses me out so much, especially since all our house is now carpet, ughhhh.
actually...being barefoot at all. especially on hardwood floor and tile, I can't handle.

if I am sitting at a table, my chair has to be straight. it can't be crooked or anything.

Haha, I just asked my mom what quirks I had and she said "that you don't listen"

I'm paranoid about having something on me that I can't see, like a stain or something. or like a "kick-me" post it on my back :p

OMG socks! the seams bother meeeee so muchhhhh! :p

Hmmm...there's so much more, ahaha.
Oh. Ever since I saw something about a snake hiding in some lady's shoe, anytime I put shoes on I turn them upsidedown and shake them. even if I had just taken them off 5 minutes ago and want to put them back on, they must be shaken. :p

aaaha im crazy.

ETA: NOOOO tucking in shirts! No no no.
When I put on a jacket, & Im wearing a long sleeve shirt, I have to hold my sleeves and make sure they don't get scrunched up or I am so so so so uncomfortable. and they can't be like twisted and the seams have to be right lol.

Oh god I have so many.... it's to the point I think I may have mild OCD, actually.

I have 'good' and 'bad' numbers. Nothing can be set on an odd number, with the exception of multiples of five, those are safe. This goes for basically everything. Funnily enough my sister has the same safe numbers too.

Getting me out the door is sometimes fun, I have to check everything at least 4 times. Same goes for every time I go into my purse. I have to check that EVERYTHING is there.

Driving, I choose the route with the least amount of left turns in it. Doesn't matter if it's a lot longer.

I have to check the car is locked many times.

I hate feet period.

Umm... I know there's more lol.

OH yeah socks are something else for me

on one hand I CANNOT stand socks that have the seam at the tip ofthe toes instead of on top of the toes.

I have to pull my socks up tight before putting on shoes

I CANNOT wear closed toe shoes without socks

and I cannot wear socks around the house unless my feet are REALLY cold which almost never happens (except today LOL) BUT I cannot be bare foot around in the house in case I step in a wet spot like in the kitchen LOL. so I wear house shoes or slippers around t he house at all times

everyday I make the SAME thing for lunch... well almost everyday. If I am in the house ALL day it has to be the same thing for lunch. Annies mac and cheese... has to be. AND it has to be cooked on the same burner and then I move it to the front burner on the adjacent corner to "mix it"
