That's prob just a courtesy posting for a breeder...
I've seen that done many times in different breeds - the breeders figure the dog will get more 'press' than if they were to just list them on their website. Plus, it's usually only in breeds where rescue isn't flooded, so it's not like they're taking the home of another otherwise in-need rescue dog.

if its not however i REALY hope the breeder KNOWS this dig is in rescue.
unfortunatly theres been more than a few times around here where dogs have shown up at the shelter and the chips have breeder details, the problem is, the shelter around here belive ALL breeders are scum and often dont contact the the "alternate contact" on the chip :(

i just hope hes not one of those and realy is a courtesy posting.

I could have my own Beau! Kinda.
I hope his breeder does know he's in rescue - or maybe when they say he's a show dog he wasn't, uh, really. Like maybe he was a poorly bred one and didn't do well.

Lmao, my friend with a papillon and an aussie on another forum found him. He's very pretty and looks really well bred to me based on the pictures.

Are they allowed to do courtesy listings? I didn't think that was allowed.

Yeah, he does look super lovely. It's really weird. I saw that he's also neutered now... I wonder what happened?
