Sadie has started losing a lot of her teeth lately. 3 or 4 so far in the past 5 days, and has been teeth alot, but I'm afraid some of her toys are too hard? Is it normal for them to bleed on their toys when teething? It's worrying me a little bit finding her rope or bone with blood on it.

If she seems to be in pain go for something softer. You can soak an old sock or rag in water and freeze it for her to chew but if you do that you need to watch and make sure she doesn't eat any pieces of the cloth.

Agreed, it is normal. I would give her several different toys/chews. She'll pick which ones feel the best and the hard ones often make the teething process easier. Be careful of toys that she can snag a tooth one and pull it out before it is ready to come out. This not the time to play tug with a pup or if you do, no pulling or swinging from you, let them pull gently.

Another thing to watch for is double teeth, nothing to worry about but sometimes the new teeth come in and the baby teeth don't fall out. If you are concerned about those extra teeth, a quick call to your vet is in order.

Ok. I check her mouth a couple times a day and everything looks pretty good, minus some red gums from chewing. She lost her last canine this morning which looks pretty funny missing all 4 of them.
