If any Chazzers are in these states and would be available to help with a transport this weekend (Jan 16-17), I am trying to get my Frodo from my house in Bloomsburg, PA to corgipower in Greensboro, NC.

He's not in any danger or anything, but I am leaving for school in MN on Tuesday and corgipower has graciously offered to take Frodo for the semester. He'd otherwise be staying with my mom, not necessarily a bad thing, but CP would be a much better match for everyone involved.

Anyway, this is the route we are looking at, however based on who is able to help and where they are located, this can be altered if need be.
Bloomsburg, PA to Greensboro, NC - Google Maps

I anyone is willing and able to help please post your location and how far you would be willing to travel.

Thanks in advance! :)

I can pick up Frodo in southern VA somewhere. There are a few alternate routes that are doable depending on who is transporting.

Wish I was closer and could help! Good Luck, I hope this works out.

Did you check the transport thread to see who is located along the route?

Well if all else fails, we'll go with the scenic route. Frodo can tour the country via chaz transporters. ;)

Coop, I think that would be just a bit out of the way :p

There are a few people along the route from that thread, but it depends on which route ends up being taken. I guess there aren't any people from there, but did anyone notice that Maryland is missing completely?

Since the little stuffed dog never took off, maybe we could just send Frodo around for the semester instead?
:yikes: :rofl1:

He'd probably move through people pretty quick, lol

i could take him from harrisburg a couple hours south (baltimore-ish or a little further).

actually i guess it would make more sense for me to pick him up at ft. indiantown gap since that's where i'd pick up 81. no sense in two people driving that stretch to harrisburg.

I know I haven't been active in this forum, but some of you know me from elsewhere. I'm along the 95 corridor in Northern Virginia.
So from outside DC to somewhere just short of Richmond, I could do if you need.

I'm in Alexandria, VA. I could go an hour in either direction (up to Baltimore or down to Fredericksburg), or overnight him at my place if necessary. Maybe break it into 60 mile chunks, and let people sign up for what they can do?

Good luck with the transport! I'm not far from Corgipower so I'm not much help!

Though it's kind of funny, I looked at the map that was posted... I'm trying to work out getting a smooth Collie transported from the same general around of NC (just south of Greensboro) to the same general area of PA, just a bit north of Harrisburg!! LOL

Well I could bring the collie up to whoever I meet with Frodo and we could swap if they could bring the collie up to wherever they came from. :p

I just wanted to say good luck!!!
Ya know, Frodo might like another corgi for a travel buddy. ;)
