The new un-Collie is here!

I went to see the litter today and the breeder's choice for me was spot on. She's perfect and took to me right away!! She's a little scared of my big dogs because she was in a house of AHTs and mine are 2-3 times bigger, but she's taking it all in stride.

I'll try to post pics tomorrow - the batteries in the camera died suddenly and i have to charge them 8 hrs! Ugh!

So, I am now the proud owner of a blue tri piebald, coated American Hairless Terrier. Her call name was Sparks (by me) but my BF suggested Spuds and it fit, so that's now her name. Her registered name will be WMK's Sparks Will Fly @ Onesti.

She's a dark blue, so the pics won't give you a fix. You have to see her in the sunlight to see the blue. It's a pretty 'gunmetal' blue, which I like!!

Adorable Hairless Terriers are so freaking cute, lol! There was one that used to come to our weight pulls.

I took her out today, sure that people would think she was a Chihuahua. Everyone asked if she was a JRT (so don't feel bad). She's basically a Rat Terrier as far as looks and temperament (and until 2004, they were considered RTs by UKC, with a variety of hairless or coated).

Okay,,why is this breed called hairless terrier? She has a coat
