Reggie's Christmas Photos (corn snake)

I know I am late to post these, but I entered one in a photo contest on a corn snake forum and it was against the rules to post it (or similar photos) anywhere online until the conclusion of the contest. Hopefully there are a few people out there that don't mind a little extended Christmas spirit!

Anyways, Reggie is a late '08/early '09 classic (normal) corn snake. I don't remember his exact weight of the top of my head, but he has been growing like a weed and starting to get some heft to him. I think he's pretty neat.

He's posing with a miniature artificial tree that I keep on my nightstand during the holidays.

does he eat pinky mice? or things like crickets and meal worms?

I thought they turned out pretty well, too. I did try to set up the photo so that he would wrap around completely like a garland on top, but he was having none of that. Lol!


He does eat mice, though he has graduated to fuzzies, which are a size larger than pinkies.

It's actually not good for corn snakes to eat crickets and meal worms because the snakes are not designed to digest the exo-skeletons. Insects can actually cut up a snakes insides!

He's gorgeous! I've got an amel and a ghost but I've always loved the richer colors of the normals
