I have like 4-5 pairs of tennis shoes to wash, can I throw all of them in at the same time?

should I take the shoestrings out?

should I use hot or cold water?

Thanks...

When I washed shoes I did it in cold water (but I pretty much wash everything in cold water lol) And I took the laces out and put them in a pillowcase, tied it, and washed them too. I only had 3 pairs, though. I think it should be fine *shurgs* :)

That's basically what I do.

If they have lining on the bottom, I'd take that out too. It always dries in a funky way if I wash it, so I just put it in after the shoes are dry.

Well, I washed them, then the **** washing machine attacked me, and whacked me in the face with its lid, when I opened it to get the stupid shoes out..

i wash sneakers loose in cold without shoelaces...
make sure the door is VERY secure or duct tape it...

then i throw either clean tennis shoes or clean tennis balls in when im washing quilts/duvets/bedding...they fluff perfectly :p
