Took my kids outside today for a romp in my leaf-filled backyard. I think Porom needs some duck soup lovin' soon... she keeps slipping out of her harness, she's so skinny!

Adventure time!

Palom portrait.

Crowding in for lap snuggles.

Palom, typical, found my lap to be a more inviting spot than exploring.

Porom, typical, kept exploring.

"Hai mummy, you iz warm. I stays here." (Look at his fangs. My little walrus.)

Porom busied herself by digging a moat around one of the yard plants.

Then went to bother Palom, who had since crawled into my pocket and fell asleep.

But my standing up got his attention! O hai!

That's all! :D

:D They are so cute!! Great pics! Looks like they had a lot of fun. I had mine out yesterday, but didn't take any pics :(

Izzy's thinned out a tiny little bit too. Annie, on the other hand, has thickened up a lot for winter, and has a very thick, long, soft coat. I wonder if its the coloring/coats and the weather?

I think they both could use some duck soup, they are both getting fairly thin! By this time last year, Palom had his fat for the winter, did he not?

Either way, they are so cute! Can't wait to get the 3 of them together again next weekend, I swear Rascal is fatter than both of them now!

I think it's mostly weather. Like Jess said, both of my ferrets plumped up majorly last winter.

Palom was a whale:

And Porom got considerably chunkier too:

I might try a food switch or a food blend, too... I find that the weight loss also came when I started them on Innova kitten food, but they love that food, so I might blend it with a ferret food, and supplement them with duck soup for some time.

This means I get to make a new batch of duck soup! Cooking time! *bounces* :p

Also, Jess, you're bringing Rascal next weekend? It's about time! :p I might be able to pick you up on Friday, since you're watching Finn for me Friday night. We'll figure it out closer to Friday.
