doggy yoga/bully stick

him in his new puppia

he did great his first day walking. he took everything in stride.. students, bicycles, other dogs being walked, etc.. he wasn't phased, he liked the adventure

he really is everything I have hoped for. hes perfectly potty trained and stands/scratches at the door when he wants to go out, he is energetic and enjoys walks but when indoors is happy to sit on my lap and take a nap or watch TV, he loves to be brushed and petted, he doesn't bark much at all.. only when somebody knocks on the door, I already feel like hes always been here lol

He's so cute !!

Did they cut his hair? I notice he doesn't have any ear fringe Or hair on his feet. Also his back is pretty Short.

He's very, very pretty!

I love tri color dogs, and yours is no exception. What a beauty! I'm glad you all found eachother. Sometimes when the right dog comes along, you have to say "yes" and just let other plans go by the wayside.

2 pups, it takes a long haired chihuahua 3 years to gain their full coat.
some (like jessies tucker) are fluffier than others, but a long haired chi should have silky medum lenght hair on the back, they will get "pants" (or skirt) depending on who you ask, and as he gets a little older hell develop the ruff (mane) with some ear fringing and his tail will fill out even more.

dodger at about the same age as frans little guy.

dodger at almost 4 years old.
notice how he whent form some straggly fringe and a small tail plume to that full thick ruff around the neck and a heavy plumed tail

and vixie who whent from

at about a year and a half

to

at about 2 1/2, i dont have a good reacent picture but her ruff has filloed out a little more (though females never get the full manes like the males do) her tail plume however is amazing now lol!

his breeder says his coat is fine for his age, and she never mentioned trimming his hair.. so I doubt she has. his parents have perfect coats, especially his LC sire.. soooo im not really worried lol and honestly, his coat really isn't a priority with me. I love it just the way it is and will love it regardless of how it turns out

hes a well bred chi and as long as he is healthy, then im happy.
I think he looks perfect lol then again, im biased

fran dont you worry, he has a perfectly normal coat for the lh chis ive always been around in the ring, perfectly normal for his age, though i dont think hes going to get the full ear fringe he does look like hes going to have a real nice ruff which is more desirable in a male.

id love to know what breeder you got him from, hes a very nice looking boy and it sounds like he has an amazing temperment, especially for CT (land of the petshop wowie!)
