Come to think of it, all the dogs we've had since we've been married have been published in one way or another. Heineken, our Siberian/GSD mix is in the book "Old Dogs, Old Friends" by Bonnie Wilcox and Chris Walkowicz. Mick was in a local training magazine back in the late 90s and there's also a picture of him in book put out by a photography competetion. Caleb is in another edition of that book, and we had our picture in the paper last spring. Oh yeah- he was also in J&J Dog Supplies Summer 2007 sale catalog.

This was the sample picture, not a scan so thats why it looks funny.... Both her and Zorro have also appeared in True Grit, the JRTCA magazine.

Many of my gang has been in calendars, Mindy was on the front cover along with Petie a few years back.

On a much smaller scale, local newspapers several times as well.

All of these are chance things that have happened, I was contacted by the photographer for the calendars, and after a few people saw the Picture I had taken of Mindy (Above) they suggested it for the magazine, I am proud of them though!

Lola's was by chance also. It was in the dog park on opening day for the new dog park. That picture was taken a year or so ago but only recently they put a link to the brochure on the website.

Thats cause JRTs are so photogenic lol!

My guys have been in lots. Snip was on the cover of a boxed set, and one of our fosters was on the cover of another... JRTs rock lol.

Not the dog!

But I had one of my llamas on the front page of the local paper! Big color photo and everything. But I chucked it out of embarrassment.

Strider had a photoshoot for a couple of magazines last week, they are running an article about his breeder's psych service dog program for vets using borzois and wanted pictures of a fully trained adult. I'm hoping to get copies when they come out.

Why would you do that?

Heck I have copies of that brochure that Lola is in and I even kept the October 1996 issue of Wired Magazine that I was in along with several articles in the local papers. The 2 times I was on TV I kept copies of those shows on VHS tape. If Lola is published again I will also keep whatever it is she is in. There is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Yeah it lots of different stuff, including highlighted for jrt racing on t.v once. Plus they have been heavily used in the calandars including covers for everything from the calandars to the address books to daily planners etc, especially Petie.

We were interbied at woofstock once on how I keep him cool in summer. And then asked why I dont just shave him. Not sure if the video was ever released as I didnt check up on it lol.

He has been photographed numerous times at dog events. again i never checked/knew where to check to see if any photos were used.

So he may or may not have been lol
