Disney thread made me think about my childhood, so tada....what cartoons/shows do you wish they still play, if I didn't already list it, which I doubt it lol. I know some old cartoon are still played but either they show them late or they come on channels not offered on basic cable.

I don't think you need to add much to the list, it was more like memory lane for me lol

I actually need help remembering a show, lol........its about this girl and she had pigtails I think, it was on Fox Kids I believe. She wasn't really popular. Ugh, its killing me I can't for the life remember the name. The show was very paper-ish. And she pretended to be a superhero.

Oh and this show it had these rockstar puppet dinosaurs that played music, and there was a kid cast, I think it was on a Christian/religious channel....ha I'm such a dork. But I think I might the only oddball on Earth that watched that show, if you watched it as well...I swear I would FREAK, because I honestly think I'm like the only person that watched it!

Gawd, kids are MISSING out, and Nickelodeon was this ish! I'm in tears, now blah....I'm literally acting like a spazz from missing some of these shows so much....I need to breeeeeeeathe.

Haha, I amended it to the correct name after you quoted me apparently. I used to love that show an many of the ones you mentioned as well. I agree, kids these days are just missing out.

Ugh another brain fart. It was this show about a dragon puppet I think. She had poofy purple hair, I think, with wings on her head. She had a baby sibling. Had a group of friends, I remember one of her friends was a girl and glasses and was real shy. I think it was PBS or a channel like that.

I was never into the puppet shows lol.

lol its these dang puppet shows that are giving me a headache!

I guess I really feel old now because most of those shows you listed were what my daughter watched. There were some that were from back when I was a kid. I loved the flinstones and the jetsons and the brady bunch. Here's a few others I liked...

The only cartoon I can honestly say I hated watching was scooby doo..lol That was my sister's favorite and we'd always fight over who got control of the tv when that was on.

Bugs Bunny is my favorite cartoon of all. I loved it.

I also liked watching Tweety and Sylvester, Tom and Jerry, the Jetsons, the Flintstones.

The Archies was popular during my childhood, too, although I remember the comic book more than the actual cartoon. I also read the Richie Rich comic book, but I think it might have become a cartoon, too.

I'm not completely ancient because Scooby Doo started when I was still young, and my kids know him.

I was completely floored when my youngest didn't know who Tweety Bird was and had never heard "I thought I taw a puddy tat". He's in high school and didn't know anything about Tweety!!
