Its often cross-seasonal.

Winter- Greyhounds/Salukis or big Labs/Newfies, mixes for coursing or water play.
Summer - Huskies and Mals and Samoyeds for winter play.

Oh yeah! I have a long list of Maybe someday breeds. I dont know if i could actually live with any of them though. Salukis are a top love, but most likely never own breed. I love the sporting breeds too like brittanys, vizslas, and pointers (not GSPs though). Again, dont know if i could actually live with one (a vizsla probably though).

I find myself wanting a mini poodle male more and more! I Will have a female standard next, but i want a mini for some reason too! Of corse dobermans are the top when i have a house.
Why oh why, but danes are on the list now too. I Want an Irish Wolfhound though!

Sigh, so many breeds, so little time.

I am absolutely obsessed with Asian Breeds.

I've had sharpei's , Pugs, and Japanese chins.

I have to admit that the King Charles Cavalier is giving them a run for their money, especially since the wife has been pushing for one.

im head over heels obsessed with my sibes and them as a breed, there may be a few things that i dont like about the breed. But overall they are the dog for me.
I love akitas, samoyeds goldens, border collies, and australian shepherds. alot of the double coated breeds.

I crave a smooth coated chow like there is no tommorrow. Unfortunatly, it would be a supremely stupid thing to do until I got my own place, since there is soo much BSL BS.
After my sweet Argon, a long haired whippet might be in order.

I always wanted a GSD. I had a senior male that my ex "disposed" of because he growled at him, then I had Sam, who choked to death on a break-away collar, then Fluff who my neighbor poisoned (all those dogs I had in about a 1 year stretch, it was a hard year) so I swore off on getting another dog until I was rid of the ex and had moved.

But, I'm in love with the breed completely. If I were to get another breed of dog it might be a Malinois, but I'm sticking with GSD's. I also like Weim's and Dachshunds though. :)

I have so many breeds I would love to own, but the main ones are

American Bulldog
Caucasian Ovcharka
Belgian malinois
Kangal

But at the end of the day I realize that owning one of these breeds will take up a space for a GSD. Maybe when i'm older and live on a million acres of land, or live on a deserted island with as many dogs as I want.

Yes, I go bak and forth between kelpies and BC's constantly trying to decide which one I want as my first puppy. Also have epic Great Dane and Greyhound phases.

Right now I'm "craving" a sheltie so bad it hurts... I miss Nikki (the sheltie I grew up with) really bad right now, I've been keeping busy... but it seems like everywhere I go there is someone who has a beautiful sheltie that I can't help but stare at. When I ask to pet, I often cry.
And yet I want one again... its a good thing my house is full! ;) Because I've been saying I want to get started in agility, keep waiting for the right foster to do agility with and then adopt :lol-sign: but right now I want a Sheltie!

At the moment, and always below the surface, I am craving a Whippet. Dobermanns are my favorite breed, so i always crave them. But I just recently got through a Bull Terrier phase, and Staffy phase, Standard Schnauzer phase, PRT phase, Akita phase, and it goes on.

Once I own my own house I have plans on a large "dog house". Hopefully I live to be 100.

Every day of my life. Puppyfind.com is addictive. It is like a drug. Wait until you go through an Akita phase... that's just madness.
cursing currywood :rofl1:
Actually I crave a dog every hour of every day. Realistically for where I live focus is smaller breeds, but technically cravings limited only to having it healthy and alive.

Laurelin how hard is it to keep Paps coats nice?
Preferentially I would be less apt to want one of the clipped breed types, but paps are one breed that always snaggs me, along with several others lol
