Is this normal/ok?

Leo (my friend's bf's dog) apparently never will pee (unless "his bladder is REALLY full")...so it takes like 20 mins for him to go outside cause he won't ever empty his bladder...just walks around marking things.

And according to my friend "he has a really big bladder, so luckily he only needs to go out like once a day".

Just wanted to make sure this wasn;t indicative of some health problem...

Sounds like Lucy. Except on rare occasions where she's swallowed buckets of water, she's "a little here, a little there" type dog. Sniffs and marks everything. If she really has to go, she will, but it's only once in a while.

The marking is normal. But I seriously hope the dog gets taken out more than once a day. Ask her how she would like it if she could only use the toilet once a day? If he's holding it all that time, it could lead to problems.

Tyr marks a lot, but he does it quickly, so what would take 20 minutes he can do in 3. (Those mals are fast :p)
