I agree this is the reason so many young labs are looking for new homes. to many people think they are the "perfect well behaved family dog"with no training it is sad. Sawyer is still a young active breed. She needs to get over it. I dont like dogs licking me, but I sure wouldnt saay you need to rehome him over that lol. Blaze used to be a WILD WILD child. in his "younger" days, like 3 or 4 years ago. so excitied for people. Now he has calmed down. The people that said they didnt like him, have now grown to love him. including my brother, who now loves taking him out for walks with his friends and their dogs. I think they use him to pick up girls though lol.

Sorry, MH, but I might have sat down next to my dog and stared at her while she ate right along with the dog :rofl1:

Of course, I have an advantage with Kharma -- not many people are willing to bitch at her or around her :D
Oh don't get me started! I'm not the type of person who complains about much but lately things are just really getting to me and this is just the icing on the cake. But I haven't really had to say much Hannah's doing all the talking for me.

Every night I would lay on MY couch while the BF played his video games and Hannah would join me. Well the other night Hannah was on the couch and the girl decided to lay down and go to bed. Hannah looked at her, circled a couple of times and then jumped right off. Then the other morning while I was on the computer Hannah went over to her and gave her a great big wet kiss. Hannah knows whose couch it is and it ain't hers! :rofl1:

Ugh, I know what you mean Pixie. My mother LOVES Ozzy, but she is forever picking at Enzo. Enzo is a baby in terms of breed. She's going to be a puppy for another YEAR at least.

Oz at 17 months old was a gentleman. But he was pretty much all done growing/being a puppy at that point.

And MH, I would probably have already laid down the law to the girl on the sofa. For real. They live here, you don't. If you don't like it, get the f*ck out. I don't put my dogs up just because someone who is coming over does like dogs, doesn't like dog hair, toys, slobber, etc. The only time I'll put them up is if they are misbehaving, or are overwhelmed.

She actually likes the dogs she wants one of her own but that comment just irked me. Hannah did what she told her to do, she told her to lay down and she did. It just happened to be right in front of her. When we don't want Hannah near us while we are eating we tell her to go into her crate and she does. I'm not bringing her to obedience classes because she begs. I like to think I have that under control.

If she didn't like my dog she would be out on her a$$! She might be out on her arse anyway because I want my couch back!

With this whole arrangement I'm just mad I lost MY couch and Hannah knows it. Heck it really is OUR couch (Hannah and I). :lol-sign:

...He's not a bad dog. He is a really good smart dog who has the softest heart on the planet. And when people point at him and say "Problem child, must rehome" it just drives me insane.
Hmm, I think you do need to rehome Sawyer- right here in NJ! :lol-sign: Seriously, tho, you're right- some people just don't "get" the goofy, fun loving, slow to grow up Lab mentality.

Isn't this the brother and his gf that took on that little pup you recently found? Is she just gonna get rid of it when it gets big and excited? :/
I was thinking the same thing.....

Nope. My brother already told her that she would go before the puppy goes. :D
and I'm very glad to hear this! His GF is awful for saying you should rehome Sawyer. Poor sweet Sawyer.
