just as stated My younger dog who is only about a year has been throwing up and had bad diahrea for a few months now ive tried diff foods to see if that would help and i think its only gotten worse he has lost weight. And then yesterday he threw up pieces of a bone as well as some blood in his vommit so im kind of worried, today he doesent seem to want to eat pretty normal for him though except for not wanting treats thats not normal

Please any help or good vibes much very appreciated.

He's been having vomiting and diarrhea for months and he hasn't seen a vet yet?? :yikes:

No suggestions, other than get him to a vet. And quick. Especially now that he's vomiting blood.

^^^^Ditto. Even if somebody was to give you suggestions as to what it could be, he should be gone to the vet. Probably a week ago. Glad that he has an appointment today, the sooner he gets there the better!

Also, out of curiosity, if you were puking for months, would you not go to a doctor? The same rule of thumb should be used for your dog with a vet, probably the 2nd day of vomiting, he could have used a vet.

I honestly thought it was the food changes i have changed his food numerous times over the past few months and thought this was causing the stomach upset/diahrea. But now the blood yesterday and not wanting to eat today made me very worried so he does have an appointment this afternoon.

I agree, the food changes probably did not help the diarrhea or upset stomach, could have even caused those two, but generally it would not cause puking this often.

What kind of foods were you switching between, if you don't mind me asking? It may be a common item in the foods that the dog may have an allergy/sensitivity to which is making him vomit.

Okay so we are back he had two types of parasites/ worms under the scope i can not remember what they were. He has a few diff meds to take. to treat that and he said that could be causing the bloody diahrea/ vommiting but not long term weight loss. He has some new food to try and to help with the pillls and we will be going back for a check up later this week.
