But I actually SAT BESIDE someone posting and I can tell you they were tying to be helpful and nice. So you can say what you want.. but I KNOW the intent of the post.

I am not a mod so no I can't see a deleted post. But its a bit rude to say I didnt' read something that I can't see. I only read when this thread got brought back up.

I have to say why keep being sweetly nice when its not working? I didn't intend to be mean.. a bit harsh yes.. but the reality that byb dogs have to live in often IS harsh.

Sorry I am a bit passionate about people NOT supporting BYB and mills. As someone who works in rescue I see nice people who never really saw the problem (oh people told us but we didn't really believe them till it happened to us) with getting a 'cheap' puppy.
Listen...or read this, and not between the lines..

I stated that there were very helpful posts did I not??? As a matter of fact Dekka, I was not even thinking about you or anything you wrote when I typed my first post in that thread. How did this become about you?????

And please, no one is more passionate about it than I am but the way that things are said DOES make or break the point.

Back to the original topic PLEASE!!!

I'm really too tired for a game of back and forth tonight but I think that I was more than clear about what I thought might be a better approach.

We're none of us perfect. None of us know it all. Funny how we can feel 'safe' challenging someone who appears a little naive over the net. I wonder how the same 'advice' would be conveyed in person. Food for thought. I suspect a much kinder conversation would take place....and the 'advice' would likely be taken as it was meant.

Sooo.. I said fine.. (as in ok.. dropping it)

And then ask you what your suggestions are so we can get back on topic. (since you don't like how we are doing it.. then lead by example) I wasn't trying to be snotty I was trying to actually do what you wanted.

I agree with you Doc.

I mostly lurk and have for years, way before becoming a member. I'm sure someone will get their painties in a knot since I'm not a "regular", but there have been members over the last couple of years that really seem to enjoy.....what i don't know. Maybe being smarter than others makes a person feel good? Not sure.

I in no way think things should be sugar coated, or people coddled. Maybe the members that have had alot of conflict lately do not realize the way they come across. If not, FYI :p some of ya come across much to harsh! :D

It's starting to look like a re-run of Mean Girls here anymore.

You know, disagreements doesn't mean people have issues with each other. It's just that, a disagreement.

Me and Dekka have had our past hashings. Food is not something we discuss any longer. ;) But her and I are good buddies. Because it's just that, a disagreement. Life would be seriously boring if everyone agreed on everything.

I think some people jump the gun a little too quickly. To me, the advice came across just fine, I didn't see any snarkiness.

And my opinion is, if you're old enough to get on a computer by yourself, create a user ID and log onto a dog forum and post, then you're old enough to comprehend simple advice when given, especially since it was requested to begin with.

Lol, yep!

Now to get back on topic I think I'm going to start from the beginning and read all the posts. :)
