Through Renee's expertise, we are pretty certain that part of Opie is Fila Brasiliero. Through my own research, I think the other part may be Cane Corso.

He looks like he's put some weight back on, yeah? Has he bonded enough with you, Sweet to compensate for being in the shelter?

I guess. If you count crushing me against the wall during snuggle time in his run as "bonding enough".

Ahh, so it's moved past "bonding" into "melding".
