attempting to locate Keeda in the reeds:

ARRRR! Evil water!

Why do Corgis always have a guilty look?

Midget finally came out of the water!

I"m not sure which one is in his/her own world! LOL.

Thanks Zoom and Jessie! :) :) :)

Lizmo: since I shoot with a D90, I guess what you're trying to say is.... that I just suck huh? LOL. :p I would tend to agree, so it's ok.

I'm trying to get better. This is my first real DSLR... I bought a photography book that's specifically for the D90... now it's just a matter of getting out there and taking them. If you look at the ones I've taken during the day with lots of sunlight they're much better... it's this evening, low-lighting that I'm really struggling with. And I don't have photoshop, so I can't even *try* to make them look better. :(

Awww! Little wet Midget! He is way too precious. ;3 Does he ever swim? I'm trying to teach Fozzie to get out there and actually swim.

Keeda looks very regal.

Cali: I'll have to check that out... I was thinking of getting photoshop elements... but free sounds much better than $80. LOL.

Gonzo: Thank you!!! :) :) and, yes Midge does swim.... it's really quite commical... mostly because he has to swim in places the water is only up to most other dogs chests... :rofl1: I posted a thread on Sunday with a picture of him swimming with my brother's dog was just standing there right next to him...

I don't even use Photoshop. :)

Have you downloaded the software that came WITH your camera? That's what I use. Just download that (it's what your pictures upload too, called PictureProject) jazzy software and it lets you crop, sharpen, brighten, color-boost, and change to B/W or Sepia. It's AMZAZING what that will do.

Here I took one of your pictures and did some slight touching up in the Nikon Software.

Your picture:

After touching up:

I couldn't do alot since I didn't have the original sizes to work with, but look how much a little touching up can do. :)

As far as editing photos/correcting color, you can do that on Photobucket, too. Usually just clicking "auto correct" will help a lot... even though it's annoying to go through all of the pictures and click it. Meh, I think your pictures look nice. I recently got editing software, and I tend to over-edit to the max! :p

Awww... Midget needs to come out and teach Fozzie to swim!
