Opie was so happy to see me today that I got smacked with a big, dirty icky paw right in the face! We spent a little time in the exercise area, and then we snuggled some. He's not feeling 100% though, his ears still bother him a lot.

He did a tiny bit of zoomies.

Snurfling the ground. Yes, that red stuff on his head is blood. He has a sore on his ear that won't close because he keeps shaking his head. He is on medication, but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

And today, Opie took a rock out of his own poo and swallowed it again. I told the staff about it and they said they would keep an eye on him. Opie hon, I love ya but sometimes you really gross me out! :nono:

And did he kiss you afterward?

What a guy :)

What's going on with his ears?
No, he's only kissed me once. He seems to want to but he doesn't for some reason. I don't know what's going on with his ears. I know he's on medication, but nothing looks wrong if I look in his ears, they look normal. I learned how the hair is being worn off his ears, he walks along the stone wall of his run and rubs his ears on it.

He's such a silly, soft looking boy...when can you take him home? ;)
Sometimes it feels like never. :(

THey need to do the splint thing on top of his head then so it can heal. I posted that somewhere. I always love seeing Opie.

I looked for it and it wasn't stickied. SO when i get home i will look again and if i don't find it on here i will see if i can find it on line. I am sure it is itching and that is why he is doing this. If his ears are wrapped on top of his head like this he won't be able to rub them or shake them and it will get a chance to heal.
