Ferret Spa Weekend!

So, every year, the local ferret rescue hosts a fundraiser that's a ferret "spa day". For a fee, your ferret gets its nails trimmed, ears cleaned, teeth brushed, a dry bath, and some professional photos taken. It's a cute excuse to go out for the day with my ferrets.

My friend Jessica spent the weekend at my place with her ferret, Rascal. He hangs out in the spacious cage with my two, and they're the best of friends. Here's some pics from the weekend!

On Saturday, we made sure to get them good and dirty to get our money's worth at the spa day.

I have ALWAYS wanted a ferret, now you make me want one even more. how adorable are they? cute that they get a play date with their buddy and a spa day.

Haha, I know why you say that, I just get amused because JRTs and ferrets were both originally bred to essentially do the same job - ferrets just doing it on a smaller scale.

But JRTs hunt ferret-sized things, I understand!

Also, I love letting them be ferrets -digging is their happytime.

I have always wanted a ferret too. But I have terriers that would ALSO like to have one. LOL.

Tsuki's nickname is Ferret. So yes, I guess I have one now... Hahaha

Look at all the little carpet sharks!! I adore ferrets, and had three of them. My last ferret passed away just last year. I would love to have another.
