Hello! My name is Bailey, I live in NE TN with my fiance, four chinchillas, and newly adopted English Setter. I am originally from Connecticut, and I have lived here a year. My family had always owned dogs, and I've finally been able to get back into dog ownership.

We adopted our new addition from the local shelter. I've had an English Setter in the past, and they have always been one of my favorite breeds. She is an orange belton color, field dog type. She is still unnamed, but I am leaning toward "Leela" - from the show Futurama. Still have to discuss it with the other half! :D

Here is my new girl, who is currently sitting at my feet - fixating on my chinchillas. I am assuming this is just her breed. They are in a safe metal cage, and I will be moving them to a new room if there are any issues. I just hope she gets used to their presence soon.

Thanks for the compliments everybody! I'm a nervous new dog mom - it has been about 3 years since I've owned one. She has been a sweatheart - and since we only have kill shelters around here, I am happy to have gotten her. She was already spayed, and had been returned to the shelter once before for not getting along with their cat.
