Man, those are great! Thanks, now I am going to have to get up early in the morning and go trudging through some freezing bog.

THose colors are just incredible. Beautiful falls short as a word.
One of my favorite short stories was about a woman that treasured her furniture and decorations. A man talked her into taking them outside to "air" and once outside she saw how shoddy they looked compared to the grandness of nature. YOur photos remind me of that story.

I'm really trying to learn this! :p
I know that feeling. I spent the first 22 years of my life in the same place and could never see why anyone would want to visit there. Now I know... lol

Thank you very much, Zoom.

To be honest, much surgery went into these. Filters before hand (GND and colour intensifier, IIRC) and a fair bit of post-processing afterwords. As much as I'd like to take credit for getting it all before-hand, it wasn't until the post-processing that the details and colour came out.

Thanks Saje!

Beautiful! I adore Algonquin Park, can't wait to go back.
Thanks Allie. I'm hoping to make the same trip this fall (or get up around Lake Superior Provincial Park if time permits.) I have to admit, I hesitated going there due to all the people Algonquin attracts, but I'm itching to get up that way again soon! :)
