It is the camera angle that is making Mike look cobby. They are both correctly proportioned, but Mike looks proportionally shorter, partly because right now he is showing a little more fill in the body than Milton.
Mike definitely has more forechest. Milton has more shoulder layback. While Milton's bone is suitable for his size, Mike's is more substantial. The breed standard asks for heavy bone.
Milton has sootier markings, but a typier head. Milton is very dry, Mike is slightly wetter, esp. around the head area.
Milton has the better rear. Most breeders with they could take this trait and that trait and combine them in one dog. That is really what we are trying to do with each breeding, I guess.
And yes, Mikey sure does look like his Mama.
