2009 sucks

I've been medicating her for it for the past 9 months, so I knew she was sick. The vet told me she'd have about a year and a half when she was diagnosed. She had slowly started to deteriorate in regards to her mobility in the last couple of days. I knew the time was a lot closer than I would have liked, and was actually going to bring her to the vet Monday and most likely have her put to rest. I thought about doing it this morning but she seemed okay for a while so I thought she could at least wait until then. I'm very sad to have her gone, but she's at peace now.

2009's been pretty sucky here as well. My last rat died at the beginning of the year - she had tumors and had to be put to sleep, it was awful. Then a few weeks ago my roommate told me she wants her boyfriend to move in with her... and wants me to move out. So now I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to pay rent/buy a house with the pennies I have in savings.... and getting a second job in this economy is of course not an option.....
At least I do have my job, it could be a lot worse.
