yes, I'm a horrible breeder with top quality breeding stock. The fact that I have spent numerous nights with a sleeping bag, a coffee maker and/or a tv while helping the delivery process in the clean straw and blankets is just simply inexcuseable. I should be flogged publicly.

I grew up on a farm breeding dogs and horses and cattle and even though it would have been EASIER to whelp them in the straw it is not GOOD at ALL. SO yes it does as far as im concerned make you a bad breedder not even taking into account 3 LITTERS in a year. Im sorry but HOW do you afford to do it right and take the time needed with that amount?

pardon me
I have lot's of time and a boyfriend who co-owns the dogs and thus co-owns the expenses, the fleas, the vet bills, the love, the food expenses, the everything else. And he isn't even Muslim.
And yes, straw is one of the top recommended whelping materials.
Gotcha.

ummmm yea, thats why EVERY vet I have talked to and breeders I tlak to disagree with that ;)

Why do I care if hes muslim or not. And even with 2 people its not a good idea. My dad and I bred working line APBT and that would have been a unthought of number even when we had the money because you cant raise well adjusted dogs like that.

I am not sure what being or not being Muslim has anything what so ever do to with dogs...

Straw is NOT a good> Yes some people have used it. BUT its not that hygienic. Could be worse though. The clean blankets are good though.

I am very intersted in this quote

But I thought you don't show or do anything with your dogs? Were they all from ch and titles parents? Did you buy them pre titled and tested?

I don't see how you can say your dogs are top quality when they are totally untested. Most of the byb I know all claim their dogs are top quality, but just because the sires Ggrandfather had a ch. doesn't mean a thing.

this is getting ridiculous...
good luck with mom and pups

you make all these statements,"top quality stock" ect.. ect.. but you show NOTHING to back it up. no website, no pedigrees, no nothing.
you sound like someone with either a vivid imagination, or a backyard breeder trying to sound like something your not

those are some of the most bizarre postings ever..I'm torn between pity, confusion, and outright amusement.

I don't understand why, if someone decided to hold off on breeding and focus on rescue, they'd rehome their previous dogs. Nor why having the 'father' of this litter on site would make any difference in homing a litter of mixes that may not even be his offspring.

Who gets rid of their dogs just because they want to start doing some rescue work? You just quit your breed, which I'm sure like all the rest of us you spent years learning, right? I mean it takes years just to understand and /or recognize what "top quality breeding stock" even IS, right?

Lots wrong with this picture, bizarre is putting it lightly.
