What breed of dog would you get

If you could get any special breed of dog right now, today...and if there were not any problems concerning money, space, time, family members, other animals, etc etc.....

what would you get? What color, sex, markings, temperament, etc?

Some of my faves...red doberman, harlequin great dane, teenytiny toy dachshund (the only possibly hound), smooth white w/blue head collie, (the only possible poodle would be an apricot toy).....

A fawn fila. From Kharma preferably just because I know Renee would be a uber awesome breeder/mentor and I wouldn't get shafted by some asshat who just wanted to rip me off.

And if we're going all out on the fantasy thing, I'd love to live on a farm, raising livestock and then I'd have a few LGD. I'd love to have an ovcharka some day as well as an anatolian. If I had sheep, I'd throw in a briard or two for good measure.

Mini Bull Terrier with no da tendencies... white w/ eye patch and brindle.

French Bulldog... white&blk, brindle & blk w/ white chest.

Mini dachshund... blk/tan dapple & chocolate/tan dapple.

Another Golden or a mix like Ollie , as long as it had the Golden characteristics .

I'm assuming law doesn't exist either, in your dream world... Soooo

Either a black and white spotted bully type dog (not specifically an American Pit Bull terrier, but a mix of that type), or a brindle (dark brindle with no white) Stafforshire Bull Terrier.

I took these dogs off my "dream" list once they were banned in Ontario. I might still adopt one one day, but they're quickly becoming harder and harder to find for adoption (the governments plan).

was up for adoption around the time the ban went through 4 years ago. I was seriously tempted by him, and whenever I think of dogs I would adopt in a dream world, he's the first one that pops into my mind.

One of those gorgeous blonde tollers someone posted a couple weeks ago (I don't care if they're a fault, they're adorable). With white patches.

If I could get one dog right this second without worrying about anything, i would get a male Border collie, preferably merle.

Fila from Kharma. more specifically a fawn or reverse brindle drivey as hell bitch.

I would get a male 50-55 pound (though I don't care too much about size so long as it's not huge or tiny) tan and white pit bull who likes my cats in the non-food or toy way. This is one dream I have confidence will come true See my petfinder want of the week in my siggie, I LOVE him.

Exactly. I want a Fila so bad after doing all my reading and research, but I'm waiting.

As for color, I don't have a preference. Being a first-time Fila owner, I guess I'd much rather go for proper temperament and structure.

And I really really really want a tri-color Sorrell's dog (APBT) for the boys.

A Dane, either black or harlequin with cropped ears

I want another sorrell dog too we had one growing up. And the bitch we bred last year is part sorrell.

My dad was lucky enough to meet Sorrell a few years ago at a pull.

A female merle border collie, red or blue.. with a white face. A Coolie, a female bi-black sheltie, and a red merle male australian shepherd.

A Caucasian Ovcharka, a CAO, and jumping on the bandwagon, .. a pup from Kharma.

And a thai ridgeback.


ooooohhh and and and I forgot my biggest want, a Ibizan hound. .. Someday.

Another black and white Friese Stabij, but a bitch.

Okay, if NOTHING at all was in my way.. um.. Opie. I want Opie.

But if we're talking Hypothetical Dog, I want a red and rust Dobe.... adult.. cropped ears, please.

I'd also love to have Opie.
