Awesome pictures! Papillons look way too fast!
They're really ridiculously fast. I'll have to get a video sometime. Summer really takes it to new extremes. Before no one could catch Nard but she catches him easily (plus she's smart enough to change directions and cut him off). Nard's not used to actually getting tackled!

Believe it or not, though, this is actually just her running mid-stride. I didn't realize how much air she got when she really turned it full speed.

I didn't even bring her outside. I brought the two boys and my aunt brought her out later. She said Summer was pining at the door to go out too. Boy, she had fun, though. It really makes me feel good to see her FINALLY playing and having fun. She's going to miss the other dogs when I go back to school. :(

Let's just say Summer will be getting a sibling either when I get back at school or right before. Surprisingly Dad is fine with the breed choice too. (Only after he was sure I researched a lot and know what I'm getting into of course)

Bet it's another BC, lol . . .
Lol, well, they're pretty cool dogs. ;)

My Dad's response: 'Why don't you just get a Tasmanian Devil, it'll be easier.'

Then I said, 'Well, the backup choice is an Aussie'

His response: 'Well, that's basically the same thing, but they just get bigger.'

Naw, he's actually very familiar with the breed from growing up on farms and has lots of good memories of them. He's just never had one or known anyone who had one as a pet/indoor dog. Sometimes he suffers from the 'X breed belongs outdoors on a farm' syndrome. Anyways, it's going to be a while until things settle down. I have to find the *right* border collie with a good off switch in a rescue that will adopt to a college age person (easier said than done, I'm finding) or the right breeder to match me to a dog that would fit in my lifestyle. It all depends on a few things as far as timing. 5 dogs is enough here right now.
