Xochitl and Paco

For those of you that haven't heard, Paco got a new little sister. She's a Xoloitzcuintle and her name is Xochitl (So-Chee). Here's the story behind her arrival: http://anapoeland.blogspot.com/2009/01/introducing-xochimilco-gonzales.html

Paco is doing really well with her. He's much more tolerant than I expected, and sometimes more so than me (this morning I wanted to kill her... ah the joys of puppies... they're lucky they're so cute sometimes). She basically follows him everywhere and sleeps on him to keep warm. Here's the evidence:

She's really nifty and a fast learner. She already has "fetch" mastered... observe:

they are so cute togehter, im glad hes being patient with her

they are incredibly smart, id start buying child saftey locks now for the lower cabinates and watch her for the climbing to start. (ruby was on the counters within a week of getting her at 5months) some never bother, but there strong willed and adventurous so dont be too suprised if she does lol.

I decided it would be cool to get her a child's play pen so she'd have a safe place to run, frolic, and potty when other dogs are around. It lasted all of one day before she learned to scale the walls. I still stick her in there to eat, but the second she's done she is out of there! Glad I got it off Craigslist for uber-cheap (and now I've gotta go donate it, get it out of the house, and replace it with a crate).

Dakotah -- you want her? I can ship...

I will admire her from a far.
I have 2 dogs with my bff coming down for 3 days and she is bringing her dog. HELL NO I don't need another dog.
But yours sure are cute.

Yay! I'm glad you decided to introduce her, I've been drooling over her for nearly a week now!

Yeah, between her and catching up to the work that piled up while I was on vacation I've been swamped and totally neglecting my social obligations... so sorry, it will never happen again

Just picked her up from daycare and they showed me that Paco is not the only special one. Apparently she uses any dog as a bed, including the 400 lb Golden Retriever :rofl1:

Oh my gosh - she is adorable! Those ears are priceless. She matches Paco quite nicely as well!

Oh, and this Aaron may very well owe me a new keyboard. I'll see how this one dries out, because THIS made me spit water everywhere!
