Gemp, you need a girl dog. 
I can't even use scented dog shampoo on them--they make horrible faces and proceed to fling themselves all over the dirt and mud: "I smell like a girl! Oh, I do! I NEED girl dog to primp and brush and dress in beautiful girly collars and sparklies. I love my dogs, but they are big smelly boys.
