I got me a HUSKY!

Today I ended up with a Siberian husky in my yard. He was running around peeing through my next door neighbors chain link fence, ONTO their maltese that was going nuts. I caught one of the kids over there throwing something at the dog to get it to go away.

My fiance and I justed pulled up into our driveway. I opened the car door and he said "you are going out there? He could bite you!". Yeah right, so I go out and the dog is really friendly.

So we go inside and look out the window and he is over pestering the neighbors dogs again. So I told Brandon to go out there and put him on a leash, and then call animal control. I dont want him getting hurt.

Seconds before we got ahold of AC, the owners of the dog called in reporting their dog missing. That was AWSOME! So 15 minutes later the owners showed up to take back their dog, Max. Apparently he broke from their leash while on a walk and ran off!!! Talk about no recall! He didnt have tags or a collar on.

Reggin flipped out like no other. Reggin could smell him from underneath the back door, and he started barking and growling like a mad man. Right now he is STILL pacing back and forth in the house. Growling at any bark from outside we hear.

Look at those eyes!!!

Listening to reggin behind the other door.

Thanks, and surprisingly the floor is standing up to reggins nails quite well, thankfully. He slides around on that floor a lot.

That dog was breath taking. I told Brandon that I HAVE to get a chocolate husky for our next dog. I was being half serious, but I just loved how sweet he was.

Pretty boy. I love the red huskys. Poor Reggin, he just knew there was something not right on the otherside of that door.

Max is stunning! It's a REALLY good thing you took him in. Huskies are notorious, over any other breed, for having difficulties with recall. They just go temporarily deaf when they're running free. I've found several Huskies who have run off/escaped their yard. They're such beautiful dogs, but I don't know if I could handle how nervous I'd be if I owned one.

temporarily deaf? hmmmm... maybe Bamm DOES secretly have a little husky in him... lol...

WOW Reggin... he is sure beautiful. My very first dog ever was a husky named Bandit when I lived in Germany.

He is gorgeous! I've always wanted a Husky, I'm currently trying to talk myself out of going to look at a 6 month old Husky pup that needs a home.

He was so freaked out and confused. I didnt think he would be able to smell the dog that far away, lol. But he did. Max was behind two doors and out on the back porch when reggin thought something was up. Today he keeps on wanting to go outside to see if anything is out there.

I think it would be called selective hearing loss, haha. Just the other week I seen ANOTHER husky, a pure white one, walking in front of our fence. I am just waiting for a stray dog to come along when reggin is on his zip line. THAT makes me nervous. Luckily I dont leave him out there for long.

Very pretty guy.

I have always loved how they look, but after living next door to a holy terror (untrained and constantly loose), I would never want to own one.
