Morgan's New Collar!

I made this last night and sent the pictures to Skittledoo... and completely forgot to share them here!

Now, I am still fairly new to sewing in general, so a lot of my seams are a bit on the sloppy side. Very tough, but not necessarily pretty. :lol-sign: I think it's just because I have a not-so-expensive sewing machine, and it has a tendency to try to eat thread. That, and I'll just have to keep getting better with practice!

Anyways, Morgan would like to model his new look for you all!

He may look unimpressed here, but he sure looks snazzy!

Hooray! I'm so proud of myself! And these pictures are fresh after a bath, too. So Morgan is all kinds of pretty right now.

Plus Bamm is getting one since that ribbon looks like the material Bam Bam from the flintstones wears... WOO HOO!!!! I was so excited when Maxfox told me she got that ribbon... yayyyyy... I'm hoping to put a nameplate on Bamm's... depends on if the ribbon is able to withstand the rivets though....

I have a few test pieces of nylon with the ribbon sewn on. (I needed a bit of practice before stitching the actual collar.) I will bring in a couple to to work tomorrow and try riveting pieces onto them to see what happens.

Like I said in about all my million PMs... I am sooooooo excited... like bouncy excited... yayyyyyyyy.... I can't believe I've been looking for this kind of ribbon for months and you found it

Thanks! It turned out really well. And even though he's not a Flintstone dog like Bamm is, he can wear it for the Halloween season!
