Anyone wanna guess what all Scooter has in him? I know I've done this before, but there are new members now and Scooter is a bit older than the last time. I was told his mom was a 15 pound Beagle/Sheltie mix. Scooter is 40 pounds and approximately 20 inches at the shoulders. He'll be 2 years old in December.

Beagle X JRT? I don't know what would give him the size, though.

he has a double off standing coat like a Northern breed and curl to his tail. Interesting.

I do see Beagle influence but other than that I don't know. He's adorable whatever he is.

Looks like an American Foxhound/Beagle cross to me. A bit small weight-wise to be a full Foxhound, but he sure looks like one otherwise!

I see beagle, but as for the other breeds, his poofy coat is throwing me off.

The sheltie could have given him that fluffy coat. If his mother really was a Beagle/Sheltie, you can definitely see that the beagle has some influence.

His dad could be a JRT mixed with something larger. Perhaps a lab or hound of some sort. Ozzy's tail curls over like that, and I know he is for sure a JRT/Aussie.

Of course I am going to say Beagle/Possible coon hound/Lab/ Why do I want to say Akita?

Thanks for all the guesses! He has always been a mystery, I've always wanted to do one of those DNA tests on him but after seeing some of the results I don't think it would be worth it. They'd probably just tell me he's a Poodle/Great Dane mix or something. :rofl1:
