My whole name is all too common.

My middle name is Marie. I don't think there was a real reason as to why my parents chose it... I think they just liked how it sounded with my first name.

And no, I don't really like it much.

Kristan it was a knockoff of my moms middle name.

My mom gave me her middle name that she had before she dropped it when she got married. And I'd like to do the same when I get married and have my first daughter.

My name is Elizabeth Robin. I dunno how my parents came up with it.. just liked it, I guess. I'm not named after anybody. I used to hate my middle name but now I sort of like it, it's not terribly common. I go by Beth, though, and Beth Robin sounds awful, so whenever someone asks my middle name, I have to say my full name - Elizabeth Robin.

My middle name is Marie... it was my grandmothers name (on my mom's side) and yes I like it... I passed it on to Hannah.

My first name is Tanya. My parents were undecided on a name for me and when my mom went into labor Tanya Tucker was playing and she thought Tanya was a pretty name... and the rest is history

Why did your parent's give you that middle name? Its my dads first name and his middle name is Samual, apparantly I was supposed to be a boy. So when I turned out to be a girl my creative parents decided to name me Samantha and keep my middle name Drew

Aurelia's middle name is June, after my grandma. It's fun because now her nickname is Junebug.

Robert's middle name is Joseph. His mom was trying to give them names that had both anglo and spanish versions, I guess the spanish version would be Roberto Jose.

My full first name is Laura-Sophie Rose. (Rose in English. ) I only use Laura as my first name though ^^ My BF's name is Maximilian Benedikt Christian .... I do not want to be him when signing legal papers xD

"Xochitl" -- it means "flower" in Nahuatl, the dialect of the Nahua indians of Mexico. I like it but it's hard for some people to pronounce.

Then when my stepdad officially adopted me my name got rearranged, so now my official middle name is "Raquel", apparently after Raquel Welch, LOL!

LOL Me too!!! Only mine is spelled Leigh... But most of ya already know that as it's my user name.. LOL I should point out though, technically I don't have a "middle" name as mine is Hyphenated "Laura-Leigh" but I always go by just Laura except as a kid when I was in Trouble!! LOL

My name comes from my great grandma (Laura) and they thought Leigh went well with it!!

I like my name I actually kinda wish that they had used it together, rather than just using Laura.

I liked it until I worked with a Michelle that just ruined it. I used to think it was pretty, and feminine, now, not so much.

No significance for my parents choosing it except that they wanted names that could be french too. Originally they'd picked Julie Michelle, but my grandpa had them change it to Julia, which I'm much happier with

I also like that both my names are Beatles songs.

As for other middle names, if I have a daughter her middle name will be Elaine. No budging on that one. It's in tribute to my mom and means quite a lot to me to use. I'll pick a first name that fits with Elaine, or won't use it. Even if it's a first name I love.

My first name is Aryn. My mom couldn't write cursive capital E's, so she came up with that. I like it, except I get a lot of questioning looks when people read it and can't pronounce it (ERIN)

Yep when I changed the name I picked I only changed the first name I liked the middle name with both names.
