I know a LOT of people who hate their middle names (Some of them have...strange middle names, so I can understand why) but others have very normal names, and yet they don't like them.

What is your middle name.
Why did your parent's give you that middle name?
And do you like your middle name?

My middle name is Grace

Its after my grandmother (On my mother's side). she was my only living grandparent when I was born. And shes still going strong at 91.

And I do like my middle name :)

And just for fun, what is your first name and why was it given to you. And what is the actual meaning of it.

My first name is Melanie. My mom named me after her white toy poodle she had for 18 years that passed away while she was pregnant with me and my brother. And she loved that dog so much. And the actual meaning of my name is "Black/Dark" (I think that strange cause my mom said I have always been a night owl since I was a baby, and was always up at night..and I still am up all night, and enjoy being out and about at night rather than day time.

Mine's Elisabeth, after my great-grandmother and aunt/God Mother (Mom's sister). The funny thing is, her name was spelled with a z instead of an s, but my mother didn't like the z.

I don't have a middle name. :( Seriously.

My mother wanted to name me HEIDI, UGH. Thank god she came to her senses when the morphine drip wore off.

My dad wanted my middle name (when they finally agreed on my first, being Kimberly) to be Dandy. So my name would have been Kimberly Dandy Lyons.

Then my mom wanted my middle name to be Chase. So if she'd had HER way, my name would have been Kimberly Chase Lyons.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Thankfully, they never could agree and I got off scott free.

Mine is Nicole, and I hate it. Not because I hate the name Nicole, but because i know 30602860682 girls my age with the middle name Nicole and there's no meaning behind it, they chose it because "they liked it"

my first name is Alexandra...I like it okay. It's long and frilly for me, but I go by Alex. I also wish there was meaning behind it.

Alexandra means "defender of mankind" and Nicole means "victory of the people". Both are of greek origin.

Sue. I have no idea why I was named what I was. I think my parents just liked it. It doesn't bother me. It's a pretty normal name and common with Pamela

gosh if I give you that you've have 2 of three of my real names LOL. Let's just say it's very common and I have no issue with it...since it's something I never use and doesn't cause my initials to spell anything horrible I hardly notice it.

Anne. I actually find myself going by Anne or Annie more often than I do by Typhanie. :)
My first name is after the nurse that delivered me and my middle is after my aunt. My mom liked the way the nurse's name was spelled and I guess just liked the nurse in general. o_O
My mother was insane. lol

My middle name is actually first name now. Dropped my first name and my other married name in my divorce. Never used it before that time.

I'm Karen Ann.

No real significance to it, other than my parents wanted something that couldn't be shortened, and wasn't overly common. My dad is a Daniel, so he grew up arguing with the other kids about which was going to be Dan, Danny, Daniel, etc., and didn't want that for his kids.

I absolutely love my name. It's "normal", so when I was little I could find pencil's and toothbrushes with my name on them, but it's not so overused that I get mixed up with other Karen's. I do wish I had a nickname though, oddly enough.

My first name is Breeze (duh) it came from the fact that I HAD to be named a B name (tradition) an my mom didnt like the normal ones. SO while they were talking about names my uncle was looking through the dictionary and joked about the name Breeze and my mom liked it and decided to use it. And I dont like it or dislike it. I wish I didnt have it in school because I got teased about it CONSTANLY.

My middle name is Rochelle and Im not sure how I got it except it sounds good with Breeze. Again dont really like or dislike they got nice together.

And just because its a weird coincidence Ill do Bev

Beverly was named after my grandmother that I was really close to that passed away when I was 9.

And her middle name is Renee after Renee here. She is more like a mom to me then my own mom and I thought they sounded good together. So she got the names of the people I am closest to in my life.

Our initials are BOTH BRB and no that wasnt on purpose it was a total accident but i think its cool. She has a name from her Great grandmother, one of her grandmas and shares initials with her mother.
