I just need to grump a moment... why do cats have to puke? Augh!

Granted, my boys aren't big pukers, but when they do... they REALLY do. And with very little to no warning.

For instance, just now Ticheli was asleep on the ottoman here while we were watching TV. He gave us no sign or indication of anything. He just woke up, and HORK! All over the ottoman. It was gross.

Don't most cats have a wind-up or something? :lol-sign:

Now he's waiting for me to feed him another dinner, since he lost the last one.

Too bad, buddy, you can wait until breakfast now.

Mine used to puke all the time when they were fed poor quality food (meow mix) and as soon as we switched them to Kirkland they haven't vomited at all since! My neighbor's cats still puke all over my porch....ick!

He's just trying to save you money on surgery for intestinal blockage. Awww, how thoughtful!
Hoorah!

I'm still not going to say that puking is cute, but if it serves that purpose, than go for it kitty-boys! :lol-sign:

Mine are eating a mix of Eagle Pack Holistic Select Dry with canned Innova. They love it! Like I said, they've never been frequent pukers (even back when they were still on Science Diet), but when they do throw up, it's with gusto!

Well... isn't this thread lovely. :p

Mine had issues with low quality foods, and then when we switched them to bottled water we stopped having issues with throwing up. Sorry about your ottoman...:yikes:

Thankfully, the ottoman survived the experience. Hoorah for Nature's Miracle!!

Whitacre went on a puking spree during the few days that we tried switching them to Felidae from Science Diet. Guess he didn't like it all that much. He LOVES the Eagle Pack H.S. and Innova wet, so we are good there.

I didn't realize that water could make them upchuck... hmmm... I usuall fill their fountain with filtered water from the fridge, but I do occasionally throw cold tap water in there to top off. Maybe I should stop that.

Hmmm, this thread reminds me, there is some old cat vomit in the garage I need to clean up. Siam was throwing up the meow mix, and we switched her to Nutro Maxcat ocean fish flavor, and there has been no vomiting!

Off to clean up old puke...

It's because our well water isn't so good.. if you have a filter, I doubt it would cause problems.
