lol that's so awesome. I wish I had one of those things. I wonder if I could set one up in a park since I don't have a yard lol

Thanks, guys!!! Saje, you could try it, it's not just APBTs that love springpoles, a lot of other breeds dig them as well.:D

Renee,
I may get Ella into great shape (hopefully), but I highly doubt she'll ever look game-bred, really. She's a tad taller than most of the true game-bred APBTs that I've met.

I'll get a better comparison, though, next year when I take to the show.

O noez! Rebecca's being prolific again. Tsk tsk. We shall have to talk about this.

The first one in your fifth post is just amazing... well, Ella is. She's such a lovely little dog and is looking awesome. Middie's finally in shape, too, but the muscling on her front end puts his to shame, lol. Absolutely to shame. But he's working on that. I figure since he's found out how to open the gate, if he escapes a few times a day he'll be nicely bulked up. :p

I also like the first one in your 6th post.... her pink tongue is so adorable. LOL! And the clarity of her paws and ears is wonderful. Nice focusing job. Are you still using manual?

Thank you! hahahaha, Middie will bulk up. Believe me.

And, no, no more manual focus for me!!! That is the biggest advantage (that I've found/used so far) with the D300.:D

Looks like she is IN LOVE with that spring pole. I still need to put up one for Reggin. Not sure if he will take to it like Ella has. Maybe I should start with a flirt pole first.

How tall is Ella? She looks a little tall but not too bad. I know game-bred APBTs are usually under 20 inches. Reggin is 21. She cant be no more than 22, I'm guessing. Could be wrong.

I am always amazed at the action shots you get. So clear and no BLUR!

Thanks! I know ACooper told me once how to measure the height of a dog, but I cannot remember. If you know how, and can tell me, I can measure her real quick.:D

Yeah, I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't even know how to measure her.

Thanks, Coop!!!!

According to that chart on the site you linked, Ella is 18 1/2" tall.:D

A lot of people tell me she look bigger in pics than what she is in real life.

You know I absolutely adore your Ella girl. And her ears. :D
She really is a beautiful dog. And it's much clearer in this set that's she's not black like I've thought she was. She's seal, right?

Thats it?? Dang, I guess 21 inches is tall for the breed. She does look taller in the pictures. So odd.

Maybe I should re-measure Reggin. He was 21 at the time, but my measurement taking wasnt that great. I did measure at the shoulder while he was stacked, but he moves too much.

Do you know how much she weights? Yeah, I'm too snoopy. :p
