I spy a Collarmania collar (in the second post)!! Wally had the same one. Last one I bought him (and Teeny's matching pink one) before he passed. Slade looks VERY dapper in it.

It's a shame this one's a bit blurry, because it's otherwise a great picture, I think.

Slade with a little boy who LOVED him. He followed Slade around for a little while, and when Slade laid down, he crouched beside him the whole time, and kept kissing him on the head and petting him. Sooooo cute! And that's saying something, because I don't even like kids! My dog however, LOVES them. Which is great; he`s such a good doggie.




And the result at the end of the day.





He was so tired. LOL He climbed up on this table with my purse and prize, and wouldn't move. I think it was Sladespeak for "Dude, I'm TIRED! Letsgohome!".

It definitely is a collarmania collar! He has 3 in different patterns. I LOVE them. I sincerely doubt I'll ever buy him a collar from anywhere else. They're just such gorgeous collars, for the same price that you pay for junk in the stores.

At first, I was skeptical at how they'd hold up - thought for sure the fabric on the collar's edges would "wear through", but they're doing great! I wash them in the washing machine in a delicates pouch, and they come out like new.

He's gorgeous!! I can't believe how quickly he's growing. He barely even looks like a puppy anymore (but is still absolutely adorable!).

He's thinking about it. LOL He's almost 6 months, and so far they're holding. I'm pretty sure all of his siblings' eyes have already turned, so it's looking good!

They're a really cool ice blue now (have been for a while) especially in natural sunlight. I'd love it if they stayed that colour.

As far car safety...
Nova has outgrown her car crate, too. Now she wears a harness that gets clipped into the seatbelt thingy in the back and that holds her in place in the backseat. It's not as good as a seatbelt is for a person, but it would stop her from being ejected from the car in a bad accident, and it would stop her from falling on the floor or into the back of the front seats if I suddenly had to slam on my breaks.
Might work for Slade?
